So, What about it?...Why?... Who cares?...I do it
naturally... Too busy... Not that important?... |

Breathing. . .is the single most important part of your life. Something we cannot obviously exist without. However, just because it occurs without effort doesn't mean we should neglect it. We need to be more gracious than that. Treat it with respect. We often are unaware how powerful and useful it is. So instead of looking at it like something that just happens, use some of your controlling nature and take charge. Make it work 4 YOU! Assume it's the time in your life to master YOU! No, this is not some guru stuff. It's called your birth right. ANYBODY can do this. Follow these simple suggestions: 1) In through the nose, take a
big inhale, more-- Repeat 2 more times, trying to get more in, and get more out!! Keep the shoulders out of it! Fuel yourself up, don't hold on to any of it, and demand its exit from below the belly button. Just these basic steps can change your day. Every time you take a big breath like that you stimulate every cell in your body. That is not hoopla that is science. You will begin to enjoy and look forward to your 3 relaxing, invigorating breaths. Make them part of your day. Do it when you wake, do it in the car, and do it at your desk, before a stressful phone call. Don't save it for "just yoga, or just working out", or just at your allotted "breathing time". Incorporate it into your entire day. If you have children, be their example, they will want to join in! If you are a teacher, no matter what grade, stop and make them do it with you. You will all benefit. Be willing to give this a try. You will need this for optimum results in any area of your life. |
