Knees into Chest

Try this one on your bed first.
PART 1 PART ll
Lay flat on your back with your knees bent and feet on the floor. Notice how the back FEELS. Pull the abdomen into the lower back, and try to keep back long and on floor or bed. This alone is a great spine lengthener. Remember less is more.

One at a time bring the knees into the chest. Gently, clasp hands together holding the knees in. Try and feel the tensions in your body. Let go of neck and shoulders. Just breathe. Stay. Enjoy.

PART lll

Take a big Inhale. As you exhale, roll the head to the knees, without struggle. You will slowly become more comfortable.

Do not try to 'get there'. The purpose is not "how far can I get up?". Just breathe and gently roll body towards knees. This automatically opens the spine.

Inhale. Then exhale out all the air, trying to keep the naval into the spine, as you roll the body down and place the head down last.

Do it, and I know you will do it again! These stretches take seconds. They are simple and too the point. They release tension, toxins and turmoil. Take time to put music on. It makes a difference. Use classical, or jazz, new age or ocean sound. Just for a few minutes, breathe, stretch, and be with yourself.
